Bristol Radical Film Festival Workshop: Radical Film, the Point is to Change it! With contributions from Permanent Culture Now, Bristol Indymedia, iContact and Dialectical Films. March 3rd 2013, 1pm – 2.30pm, the Cube Cinema, Bristol UK.
This session offers the chance to see presentations and take part in discussions on a range of issues within the making of radical film. From breaking into the industry to questions of style and aesthetics; from equipment hire and funding, to decent sound and post-production. This session pools together the collective expertise of a range of filmmakers from all over the country, while offering a great chance to do some networking.
The Bristol Radical Film Festival is an annual event showcasing some of the most politically and socially engaged filmmaking from around the world. Taking place over the course of a week (25th Feb- 3rd March 2013), the festival tours a variety of community-based venues before culminating in a weekend of talks, screenings and debates at Bristol’s volunteer-run and not-for-profit cinema, The Cube.
